Taxic is a single Android app that changes shape depending on who signs in — customer, driver, merchant, fleet owner, reseller or admin. One install, one update path, one custody log underneath all of it.

Under the hood
Four decisions that shaped the build
- 01 Geofenced routing, not addresses Every stop is a point inside a route polygon an admin has drawn. An order outside an active polygon is refused before payment rather than failing halfway.
- 02 A custody log, not a status field Seal scanned off the counter, position along the loop, OTP at the stop — each step is a timestamped record. Disputes are resolved from the log, not from argument.
- 03 A wallet that accepts cash Card top-ups work, but the path that matters is handing notes to a local reseller who credits the wallet on the spot. Card-only would have been far simpler and would have excluded most of our users.
- 04 Three languages, everywhere Tshivenda, Xitsonga and English throughout — including the OTP prompts and error messages, which is where most translated apps quietly fall back to English.

What it runs on
- Minimum device Android 7 Around 63 MB to install and roughly 200 MB free space. iOS is not available yet.
- Connectivity Offline-tolerant Actions queue and reconcile when signal returns. Custody scans are never lost because a driver dropped out of coverage.
- Distribution Google Play Also available as a direct APK download for anyone installing without the Play Store.
